Torgon
Torgon was a skilled and altruistic aurelimancer who used his services to attempt to raise the impoverished out of their woes. He walked Legere from 455 to 380 PBD, and was executed in Sandar after the Pamplets of the Mundane were published. Torgon stood against the new rhabdophobic sentiments of Sandar, meeting his fate after peacefully allowing himself to be arrested.
Torgon gave a famous speech in defense of magic in the face of Lord Bern during his trial, copies of which were commonly found in the halls of Arcane Hand-aligned institutes, like the Thaumaturgical Academy.
Rumours suggested that Torgon knew not only how to aurelimantically summon gold, but also how to control and reverse the transmutation. This secret, assuming it was real at all, perished with him.
